Giving Tuesday


We are pleased to announce the start of our 5th year of collaboration with local non-Profits called Giving Tuesday.   On Tuesdays during the winter part of the proceeds of any purchases made at the restaurant will be donated to a local non-profits. Below are listed this winter’s participating non-profits.  Please join us to help support local good causes while enjoying good food and a break from the winter doldrums. 

February 4th - Be the Change

MCH’s initiative to provide a Behavioral Health Task Force that provides education, awareness and resources regarding substance use and mental health in the Eastern Monadnock Region. 

February 19th - End 68 Hours of Hunger

This program puts nourishing food in the hands of school children in need to carry them through the weekend. 

February 25th - Monadnock Developmental Services

Its mission is to work toward inclusion, participation and mutual relationships for all people who are at risk of isolation from the community.  As the 25th is the beginning of Madri Gras season, the theme of the day will be organized around it.

March 3rd - Happy Valley School

Happy Valley is an enriching, educational environment that accepts and encourages each child’s natural curiosity and creativity, nurtures children’s capacity to problem solve and think critically, fosters respect of self and others and inspires a life-long joy of learning..

March 10th - PBJ Traveling Health Clinic

PBJ Traveling Health Clinic strives to deliver high-quality, low-cost medical care, with emphasis on continuity of care, preventive care and health education to the underserved communities in rural Jamaica with particular attention to the children. Local Physicians, nurses Dentists, dental hygienists along with community volunteers travel each summer to Jamaica and convert school classrooms into clinics.

March 17th - Monadnock Humane Society

The Humane Society works to better the care and  lives of animals in our area.  As this 17th falls on St. Patrick day, the theme of the day will be organized around it.

March 31st - MATS

The Monadnock Area Transitional Shelter offers safe, comfortable housing for families, couples and individuals as they move from homelessness to home.  We provide support and referral services to people who are homeless, educate our community on issues of homelessness and advocate for solutions.

April 7th - The River Center

The River Center provides parent education, family support, and community connections in a welcoming environment to strengthen individuals and families in the Eastern Monadnock Region.
